The Digital SMA project emerges from a collaboration agreement between the College of Architecture and Planning at BSU with the Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma and is carried out by a team including Michele Chiuini, BSU; Caroline Goodson, University of London; Henry Hurst, Cambridge University; Elizabeth Louden, TTU; Giuseppe Morganti, SAR; and Paul Richens, University of Bath.

The project has received funding from Ball State University; the Graham Foundation of Chicago; the Kacyra Family Foundation; the Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma and Texas Tech University.
